Properties:

Zinc sulfate (ZnSO4.7H2O), also named white vitriol. It is an white flowing powder, deliquescence in the air, slightly soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in the acetone.

Application: zinc sulfate is the raw material to make lithopone and zinc salt. It’s the mordant for printing and dyeing industry, preservative agent for wood and leather, pesticide for fruit trees, medical vomit, clarifier and preservative agent for bone adhesive ,as well as important subsidiary material to make chemical fiber. In addition, it is also used as industrial bleacher in electroplating, electro analysis and paper-making.
